Chesterfield Business Assistance

BizWorks Enterprise Center

Business Incubators house, cultivate, and help develop small young firms, which, according to statistics, are most susceptible to failure during the first several years. Incubators are a valuable economic development tool which encourage and assist new, small and minority businesses to build a foundation for the future and strengthen the economy by increasing jobs and income - all under one roof.

Formerly Jefferson Davis Enterprise Center, BizWorks was founded in 2001 as a project of the Jefferson Davis Association. BizWorks is a non-profit small business incubator offering office and warehouse space to new businesses and those transitioning from a non-traditional environment, such as their garage or dining room.

Our Mission is to cultivate new and emerging businesses that contribute to the economic vitality of Chesterfield County through job creation and capital investment by providing:

  • Synergistic environment
  • Management guidance
  • Customized advisory services
  • Access to business resources
  • Flexible office space and shared administrative services

The Center can provide businesses with the opportunity to start and grow your business in a supportive, cost effective and professional environment within an approximately 50,000 square foot building, consisting of office, manufacturing/warehouse and storage space.
