Highway & Road Projects

As part of the overall transportation system, Chesterfield's transportation engineers are determined to make the county's road system a model of safety, efficiency, and convenience. The result is a primary and secondary highway system that is continuously evaluated and improved as needed. The Chesterfield County Department of Transportation works very closely with the Virginia Department of Transportation to set highway improvement and construction priorities for the county.
